Flip’s Island Rescue & Sanctuary (FIRS) is dedicated to delivering the highest standard of compassionate care to every cat and dog entrusted to us. We work to measurably reduce the overpopulation of companion animals through responsible rescue, rehabilitation, and placement efforts. We are committed to advancing humane values and education as a cornerstone of community progress in animal welfare.
Our History
We are a team of passionate animal lovers dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating, and rehoming animals in need. Our 501(c)3 Non-Profit rescue was founded in 2024, but have over 20 years of experience in animal rescue. Our rescue is home to cats and dogs all waiting for their second chance at life.
